I am not a robot.
We’ve been exploring advertising campaigns to help spread the word. This is an area filled with regulations both from the platforms and the industry regulators. Not only do you have to prove you’re not a political bot, but you have to keep very detailed records of it.
Selling financial products sets off a lot of alarm bells. Rightfully so. Not only are the stakes incredibly high to the individual, but the complexity and magnitude creates broad opportunities for grift. Even well meaning structures and tools become laden with fees and disoriented from individual goals.
I relish these opportunities to show how we treat compliance as an edge. Good processes bolster organizations to deliver better client experiences. Our Policies and Procedures manual covers everything from advertising to data security and best execution. Part of our business is worrying about that so you don’t have to.
Our guiding mission is to deliver clear eyed tools to help individuals use options strategies to manage their money. Everything else is just details. Next week we’ll be delivering the FiftyFifty strategy to our first beta users. If you want to make sure you’re in that group, reach out to me personally. This is but the tip of the iceberg in showing the power that simply presented options strategies can wield. We're starting with a short term strategy because it provides the most interactivity. Immediately following this we'll be releasing tools to manage wealth for the long term, with strategies to reduce volatility in long term holdings and intelligently manage divestments and income generation.
We might have robots working for us behind the scenes, but we endeavor to build understandable products that are customized for clients who are individuals.
Thanks for growing with us,
Mark Phillips
CEO
Happy Friday
Where did your logo come from?
Harvested Financial was founded in Chicago IL and we knew the city’s proud tradition of trading culture had to be a part of the image. The Chicago Board of Trade was founded in 1848 because commodities merchants were concerned about credit risk. Soon after they began listing standardized contracts and trading has boomed in the town ever since. Both of these forward looking measures - credit and standardization - are central to boosting liquidity and building markets that are friendly and robust for all investors. We talk about exactly that in our blog this week.
Another important Chicago tradition is the relation to the Prairie School. This style of architecture - made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright - has a geometric simplicity that composes elaborate forms produced of natural materials and aligned with the land. Mother nature has served as the necessity for invention of many financial products like forwards and futures. We’re proud to take this spirit further and bring the power of derivatives to everyone. Both the stalk imagery as well as geometric shapes are inspired by this integration of mathematical forms with natural elements.
The green in our imagery is about more than money. It references the land, but also life, renewal, and energy. Great portfolios empower people to do great things. Green is also an allusion to conservation, being prudent with resources, and our commitment to the low fees.
Harvested Financial uses options strategies to consistently tend and prune investor portfolios. We’re here to help you grow your portfolio into something that produces a bounty to fund your goals.
